About the site
This site is mainly a collection of the things I love most about hacking/breaking/making, a journal of some of the stuff that I have done, and a few lessons and tips that I’ve learned along the way.
I have spent the last seven years in Abu Dhabi, tied up in various ways with the NYU campus over there. Up until recently I was instructing for and managing the Interactive Media Lab, which does much of the same stuff as I’ve got on this site, but in a more academic setting (that just means they actually think about what they’re doing).
Now I am living in the polar opposite of Abu Dhabi; the Peak District of the United Kingdom. I spend my time making websites, flirting with nature, and trying to distract myself from existential dread.
In September I’ll be attending ITP to do this kind of stuff full time. In the meantime, if you have any questions about this site, concerns for my wellbeing, or ideas for collaboration, please get in touch!
